My interest in photography started early. My school offered a short black and white photography class when I was in the 5th grade. We spent our time doing trick double exposure shots and developing them in the darkroom.

My wife and I bought our first DSL as a 1st wedding anniversary gift to ourselves, but it wasn’t long before the first reasonably priced digital cameras started coming out. Much like Kodak, it was hard to be in the paper and film business when everything was going digital.

I bought my first true DSLR back in 2016. It was everything I had always wanted. Instant feedback and nearly unlimited photos unleashed my creativity.

While I’ve always been interested in multiple genres, I gravitated to wildlife photography.
