July 13-18, 2025 – Central Wyoming – Every year, I put in for the Tour de Wyoming – a supported bicycle tour through Wyoming. The route changes every year, and it is limited to 250 rides – mostly because some of the towns along the route can’t accommodate many more riders.
The tour is usually 5 or 6 days of riding. Daily distances are usually between 60 to 70 miles although they can be as little as 20 and as much as 100. It all depends on the route.

This year’s route started in Riverton, Wy, with stops in Lander and Dubois, before making it back to Riverton.
The first night, the tour was visited by the Wind River Dancers a group of Arapahoes
Sometimes, the end of the rainbow doesn’t have the pot you are looking for – although, in the rights circumstances, it might be just what you are looking for.
