June 5, 2020 – Aroya, Colorado – I came across this abandoned schoolhouse somewhere on social media and new I had to photograph it. It was the first real trip out of the house since we were all set home from work. The town of Aroya was mostly a train stop for a nearby cattle operation. It was named after a large arroyo located close by. The schoolhouse was built around 1909.
