April 23, 2026 – Cherry Creek State Park — On my last trip to Cherry Creek State Park, I realized I wasn’t using all the features my camera had to offer at least when it came to autofocus. I had at least 25 shots of flying birds and not a single one of them was usable. After a little self-education (i.e. YouTube), I was ready to try again.

I headed back out to the park in search of some more birds. Unfortunately, my favorite bird beach was closed, so I decided to shoot another favorite topic of mine, cycling.

I got some shots I was happy with and learned a lot about my camera. Looking forward to doing some more.
